It’s a college exclusive social discovery app that shows you a live feed of people in your immediate proximity and gives you an easier way connect with them.

Proxxy uses your phones GPS and Bluetooth Low Energy to connect you with students near you, helping you meet the people you see – and even those that you don’t.

How it works:

LIVE: Whenever someone comes into your Proxxy (1 inch to 460 ft from you), they appear in your live feed. We show you who is around at that moment - not people who might have been around 15 minutes ago. Proxxy is great way to discover people at parties, concerts, clubs, and boring lectures!

MISSED: Whenever someone leaves your Proxxy, their profile is pulled from the live feed and added to a deck of missed connections. You can anonymously swipe through the cards in the deck (right to like or left to pass) at a time more convenient for you. Missed gives you a second chance at meeting people you crossed paths with at any point in the day so you will never have to worry about missing a connection again!
